The train, a palace :
The four lounge cars of the train, railway real jewels dating from 1928 and 1930, offer vast spaces where quaint breakfast buffet charm, quietly reading the daily newspaper or listen to nightly live piano music.
To spend the night, you will have access to two forms of suites (standard and superior). In both cases, these cars once used by the British monarchy vacationers, whose decoration Belle Époque original has been carefully preserved without sacrificing the most modern comfort.
Several routes
Driving Andalusia:
You will discover the charm, flavor, joy of life, the cultural value and artistic heritage of the steps in your journey through tours organized especially for passengers. The train takes its departure in Seville (famous for its Giralda, the Cathedral and the Alcazar) and headed for Cadiz and Jerez (do not miss the taste of wine and admire the traditional horse show). The third and fourth days include stops in Ronda (with spectacular views) and Granada (where you can admire the impressive Alhambra and can enjoy the most authentic flamenco). The fifth day will be spent in Linares, Ubeda and Baeza (Spanish World Heritage Cities) and Cordoba (with its mosque and its beautiful historic center).
Ibérico route. From Madrid to Zaragoza:
Madrid, Segovia can be reached, where you will find major landmarks, such as water, the cathedral or the fortress. The train will then take you to Ávila, with its amazing wall, true symbol of the city. The next stop will be held in the university city of Salamanca (where you will find the famous frog that hides on the front of the university). On the fourth day, the journey continues through Burgos, through the Sierra de Atapuerca and archaeological excavations, which are among the largest in the world. Miranda de Ebro and Pamplona, where it is possible to perform the famous course feasts of San Fermin, the next steps of the route ending at Zaragoza, where you do not miss a visit to the Basilica del Pilar and Aljafería Palace.
Note that you can also do this route in reverse (from Zaragoza to Madrid).
Route Camino de Santiago:
It extends over five days. You will leave León and then go through Astorga (famous for its palace and cathedral, ramparts and Roman road) and Ponferrada. The second day, the train stops at Monforte de Lemos and Orense, the ideal venues to discover the Ribeira Sacra. The journey then continues to Saint Jacques de Compostela (the capital of Galicia, with its famous cathedral) and La Coruna (be sure to visit the Tower of Hercules) to return the last day, Leon.
Other routes :
Besides the above three routes you can choose the road of Extremadura (which will take you to cities like Seville, Merida, Caceres, Toledo and Aranjuez) and route of wine Rioja, Ribera del Duero.
